Mr. G. Veera Bhadram Coromandel Interview
This video is an interview with Mr. G. Veera Bhadram, President & Whole-Time Director of Coromandel. He shares his early life in a small town in Andhra Pradesh, his home-based education, and the significant lesson of sharing and common ownership within his extended family. Despite his fascination with social sciences, societal pressure led him to pursue sciences, eventually studying agriculture and an MBA. He attributes his success to pure hard work rather than inherent brilliance. After his MBA, he transitioned into sales and marketing in agrochemicals, highlighting the importance of mentors who taught him discipline and organizational prioritization. He recounts making career mistakes, such as moving to a public sector job where he felt stuck, and actively corrected them by seeking roles that pushed him out of his comfort zone, like international marketing. He intentionally took on challenging divisions that others avoided, transforming them into successful units and leading to his promotion. For youth, he advises not to fear external features, to work harder, invest in themselves, accept feedback, and to avoid blindly imitating others' career paths, instead focusing on their own strengths and making course corrections early.
